New England Regional Championships Day #1

There was a calm bustle of skaters, parents, coaches and volunteers as I entered the building this morning. Like most figure skating competitions, the morning of the Non Qualifying events at the New England Regional Championships was full of emotions. Ranging from tears of joy to tears of anguish. Full of beautiful costumes and a lot of glitter. 

Of course this is just the warm up for what is about to come. Skaters from all over New England performing great athletic elements of grace and beauty for a spot at USFS Eastern Section in hopes of moving on to National this winter.

I cannot wait to see it all unfold. Good luck to all the skaters at this weekends event! — at Leddy Park Arena.
