Every holiday or special occasion I like to create a figure. This year I created a Halloween Pumpkin. I start out with Left Forward Outside Double Loops, Finish with a Change of Edge into a Left Forward Inside Counter.
Enjoy and I am open to ideas for Thanksgiving.

The 2017 World Figure Championships in Vail Colorado was an experience of a life time. Skating on the black ice again was amazing. The people and competitors were all so positive and encouraging.
Many of my figures were skated very well. Of course my nerves took over in a few places. The altitude was a challenge.
Here are just two examples of the 16 figures skated.
The Loops of Love was my creative figure and the paragraph loops were the first figure of the last set of four.

After many months or even years of thinking about competing in figures again after more years than I would like to admit. I finally did it. I registered to compete in the completion this year. For the next two months I hope to post pictures and blog about my progress.

As expected the lower level figures and improving quickly while the more advanced pictures are proving themselves to be more of a challenge.

We are having a great time with the spin challenge this summer. There are people from all over the country signing up to improve their spins. One adult skater has already posted a 20 revolution layback!

All you need to do to enter is go to JennLoops.com and sign up with a code name, add your level and where you are from. Once a week send in your progress and see how skaters at the same level are doing around the country.
All skaters are welcome.
